It was late one evening. My mother and I—yes, we’re a family business—were deep in a brainstorming session. We had tried implementing conventional management systems, complete with powerful tools, both for our clients and ourselves. But something didn’t sit right.
Our culture is adaptive, fluid, human. The frameworks? Too rigid. Once a method is imposed, it’s hard to veer away. You’re expected to follow the proven path. But what works for one doesn’t always work for another.
